For more than three decades, Luminox has created watches for those who venture beyond the ordinary. That legacy began in 1992, when Luminox partnered with the U.S. Navy SEALs to develop a timepiece built for elite night missions and rigorous field use. The resulting Navy SEAL watch became an icon of visibility, reliability, and durability, established as the foundation for Luminox’s enduring philosophy: Every Second Counts.
The Master Carbon SEAL collection is the sophistication of this core DNA: exceptional strength, constant low-light visibility, temperature resistance, water resistance, and reliable Swiss Made mechanical timekeeping powered by the wearer’s movement. Now, the new 3880 watch introduces a chronograph for the first time, adding precise split-timing capabilities to one of Luminox’s most capable collections. More than just a mechanical movement, the chronograph is designed as a practical tool for life outdoors - whether pacing a route, calculating distance, navigating terrain, or simply timing tasks that keep an adventure moving.

Its armor is a 45mm CARBONOX+™ case, Luminox’s proprietary long-bar carbon fiber compound engineered for an extraordinary strength-to-weight ratio. Three times lighter than titanium and twice as strong as standard CARBONOX™, the material delivers substantial ruggedness without unnecessary weight. An IP black stainless steel bezel provides added shock resistance, while a screw-down crown reinforces the watch’s readiness for the elements.

An innovative black scratch-proof technical matrix leather strap adds a refined finish, bringing elevated versatility to the rugged, super-durable construction.
At its heart, the Swiss Made SELLITA SW 500 automatic movement powers the new chronograph, while a distinctive dial and exhibition case back reveal the character of the mechanical caliber. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial while maintaining clear legibility in changing conditions.
Visibility remains a defining Luminox advantage. Sixteen Luminox Light Technology (LLT) elements provide continuous illumination in low-light conditions without the need of activating or charging, ensuring the time remains readable when conventional illumination falls away.

With 200-meter water resistance, CARBONOX+™ construction, stainless steel components, sapphire crystal, and new a automatic chronograph movement, the Master Carbon SEAL 3880 Series brings together the ingredients needed for a seriously refined adventure timepiece.
Built for the extremes with an elevated refinement, the Master Carbon SEAL 3880 Series brings the utility of a true chronograph to Luminox’s uncompromising approach to adventure—because when every second counts, having the right tools matters.
“The connection to the Navy SEALs is both a legacy and a responsibility,” said Pierrick Marcoux, Group Product Director at Luminox. “From the very beginning, our watches have been designed to perform under the toughest conditions. That expectation continues to shape everything we do—not only for SEAL teams, but also for adventurers around the world who rely on their gear when pushing their limits.”
As a self-powered illumination system, Luminox Light Technology (LLT) uses highly luminous micro gas tubes to provide constant visibility and excellent readability for up to 25 years.
