Strength, endurance and perseverance – it’s not only elite troops like the Navy SEALs who need these characteristics, but also good athletes. At this year’s Rock’n’Run run, the teams from Luminox not only showed great strength, endurance and tenacity, they also rocked the course from start to finish!
The unique fitness challenge
Rock’n’Run is a unique Swiss running event, which takes place every year in the cities of Bern and Zurich. Rock’n’Run is the ultimate fitness experience and combines an obstacle course, boot camp, rowing, spinning, crossfit, climbing and partying. Pure action at over 15 power stations, spread out over about ten kilometres.
Every second counts!
650 fitness enthusiasts took part in the event in Bern, which was sold out. After start below the Swiss Federal Palace, the runners ran through the idyllic historic centre. Four Luminox teams were among the participants. The teams were competing directly against each other. The members of the winning team could look forward to winning a very special watch, namely the Luminox Navy SEAL chronograph «the only easy day was yesterday».
After the strength-sapping run of about ten kilometres, all the athletes could see themselves immortalised in an epic photo in front of the large Luminox wall at the finish. Perfect timing at the event was ensured by Luminox as the «official timekeeper».
